PIE EATING CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in a pie-eating contest involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to:

• Choking, asphyxiation, or difficulty breathing.

• Allergic reactions to ingredients (including dairy, wheat, gluten, nuts, fruits, and artificial preservatives).

• Gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or illness from rapid consumption.

• Physical injury from slipping, tripping, or colliding with objects or other participants.

I voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with my participation in this event.

2. Medical Certification & Food Allergies

• I certify that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in this contest.

• I acknowledge that it is my sole responsibility to check the pie ingredients for allergens.

• I confirm that I do not have any medical conditions or food allergies that would make my participation unsafe.

3. Release and Waiver of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge The Swanner House, No Brand Cowboy & Di’s Pies, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and the property owners of the venue from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that I may sustain while participating in this event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

4. Media Release

I grant No Brand Cowboy & Di’s Pies the right to use any photographs, videotapes, or recordings taken of me during the contest for promotional, marketing, or publicity purposes without compensation.

5. Governing Law

This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. If any portion of this waiver is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full legal force and effect.
